Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho meet with FIFA - 31st August 2010

The fifa inspection team visited the Real Madrid training ground today to examine Spain/Portugal's joint bid to host the 2018 or 2022 world cup.

The group which included Harold Mayne-Nicholls went to the Spanish Sports Council Headquarters and the IFEMA complex before going to the training ground and meeting with Jose Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka who according to Real Madrid's official website were doing recovery exercises after their injuries.

Jose Mourinho apparently told the inspectors that the grounds were perfect as a training center for up to four teams as Inter Milan and Bayern Munich trained there before the Champions League final and they never saw each other.

After the tour, sports minister for spain Jaime Lissavetzky said that it was "very positive," and FIFA gave were particularly happy with its infrastructure and security.

Real Madrid vs Mallorca - 29th August 2010

Last night Real Madrid played against Mallorca in the first game of the season and to say it was an underwhelming game is an understatement!

Both teams failed to set the field alight resulting in a goalless draw although there was no lack of attempt from either team with both resorting to dirty tactics in attempts the get the ball from the opponant

Cristiano Ronaldo certainly played hard last night with his frustration and effort evident from the get go. He attempted (but failed) to score on numerous occasions.

Two real madrid players (one of them Cristiano) suffered from dirty tackles from the Mallorca team. He was seen during the match to have hurt his ankle after being tackled although he continued playing.

Within hours of the match ending Real Madrid confirmed that Cristiano suffered from a contusion (severe bruising) on his ankle and this morning they confirmed that he would be unable to play for approximetly three weeks.

Real Madrid vs Penarol - Pre-season friendly: 24th August 2010

First of all I have to apologise for not updating recently. Since Sunday night I have had no access to the Internet so i'm really really sorry but it was unavoidable. It won't happen again.

Last night Cristiano Ronaldo and his Real Madrid teammates played against Penarol in their final friendly of the pre-season winning 2-0 securing their fifth win and remaining undefeated

It is fair to say that it was not the best match for Cristiano as although he played well he had some tough treatment from the Penarol backline and his anger boiled up at the end of the first half.

He kicked out at a Penarol defender, an act that could have given him a red card if it was a league game, and then he almost came close to blows with Egidio Arevalo after the Uruguayan touched his hair. He came off the pitch not long before the game ended.

Cristiano Ronaldo & Irina Shayk at basketball game in Madrid - 22nd August 2010

It looks like the recent allegations made against Cristiano saying that he was sending sexy texts behind Irina's back hasn't affected the happy couple!

The couple were seen today with Cristiano's sister Katia attending a basketball match between Spain and the US in Madrid.


Cristiano took to his twitter and facebook pages today to deny the claims that he had been cheating on his russian girlfriend saying "Another weekend and some more unnecessary press. If you want to know me, trust in what I write, not in all the stories written every day. I don't understand the need for this"

Their relationship seems to be hotting up if Irina's meeting the family! Cristiano's mother previously admitted that he had only ever introduced two of his girlfriends to her so they must be getting serious!

Come on girls! However much we may want to stab Irina in the eyes with a fork screaming "He's mine bitch!" We have to admit that Cristiano isn't ours and however jealous we may be we just have to accept that fact and be happy that he's happy! Say it with me "Cristiano Ronaldo is not my boyfriend" "Cristiano Ronaldo is not my boyfriend"

I know it hurts! I feel the pain too :( lol

CONFIRMED - Cristiano Ronaldo NOT playing in Real Madrid friendly tonight!

Yesterday I wrote about rumours saying that Cristiano Ronaldo (along with three other players) would not be playing in the Real Madrid friendly match tonight.

Today it has been officially confirmed by Real Madrid that Cristiano Ronaldo along with Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso will be staying in Madrid while the rest of the team will be going to Alicante to play against Hercules.

It is thought that the Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has omitted the four star players to give them time to rest before the new season begins.

Real Madrid will be playing Hercules tonight at 10.00pm (Spanish time) 9.00pm (UK time) Don't forget to tune in! I'll be updating and twittering etc during the match!

The Real Madrid line-up for tonight's match is as follows:

GOALKEEPERS: Dudek, Adan

DEFENDERS: Carvalho, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Drenthe, Mateos, Juanan

MIDFIELDERS: Ozil, Khedira, Lass, Granero, Canales, Gago, Pedro León, Van der Vaart, Di Maria, Juanfran

Kim Kardashian talks about Cristiano Ronaldo rumours

After months of rumours Kim Kardashian has finally opened up about speculation that she has been dating Cristiano Ronaldo - Not that she had much choice!

The famous reality TV star was accosted during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest and when asked whether she was dating ronaldo she laughed, paused and said "next question" before admitting that they were friends. She was then asked whether she had ever thought about kissing him and she joked "I've thought about a lot of things"

Reports first emerged in April when Kim was in Madrid and they were seen going to the same restaurant albeit arriving and leaving separately. That didn't stop the rumours though and witness reports claimed to have seen them kissing although there was no proof.

Earlier this month the rumours started again with reports saying that they had met in a hotel together in LA while Cristiano was in america for part of the Real Madrid pre-season tour. Despite them both being in relationships with other people. (Cristiano with Irina Shayk and Kim with Miles Austin) Again witness reports claimed to have seen them kissing and again there was no proof.

Cristiano Ronaldo not playing Real Madrid friendly tomorrow?

According to AS, Jose Mourinho is planning to omit four of Real Madrid's star players including Cristiano Ronaldo in the pre-season friendly on Sunday against Hercules in Alicante.

Along with Cristiano Ronaldo sitting on the sidelines will be Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso and Iker Casillas.

Among the players replacing them are newest recruit Mesut Oezil who is set to be making his Real Madrid debut during the match and Karim Benzema who is currently recovering from an injury.

Despite Hercules asking Real Madrid to send their best squad Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho wants to keep his players in the best shape possible for the new season and feels like the four players need a rest.

 No word on how Cristiano took the news but we all know he hates being benched. However i'm guessing he didn't take it too badly this time as it is only a pre-season match and he's not playing because they don't want to risk injury or have him not being ready for the season. I'm sure that was a much needed confidence booster ;)

Rhian Sugden & Cristiano Ronaldo Sexy Texts Allegations!

Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of bombarding page 3 model Rhian Sugden with sexy texts behind current girlfriend Irina Shayk's back - oops!

According to The Sun the pair met in april (one month before he started dating Irina) and since then he has texted her almost every day. A pal said of the pair: "They get on great. Rhian thinks he's a genuine, funny guy. He got her number in a Manchester restaurant. He started calling and texting straight away."

Looks like somebody's in trouble!

FYI: Rhian was also involved in another sexts scandal earlier this year when it was revealed she had been exhanging cheeky phone and twitter messages with married TV presenter Vernon Kay. - A case of history repeating itself?

Cristiano's camp has not yet responded to these claims.
